Pioneering Mass Production of Solid-State Battery Technology, Xiaodao EV Leads in Both Range and Safety
In the global race to accelerate the industrialization of solid-state batteries, Xiaodao Electric Vehicle has achieved a key breakthrough: its sulfide-based solid-state battery, co-developed with battery enterprises, has officially entered mass production and is first equipped in its flagship model "Yuanhangzhe X". With an energy density of 550Wh/kg, this battery enables an ultra-long range of over 800km on a single charge. Even in a low-temperature environment of -20℃, the range retention rate remains at 92%, far exceeding the industry average of 70% for traditional lithium-ion batteries.
More notably, through 3D ceramic electrolyte technology, the battery achieves "no ignition and no explosion" in needle penetration tests, reducing safety accidents by over 90%. Combined with the 6C ultra-fast charging system, it can realize "10 minutes of charging for 400km of range", completely addressing users' range anxiety. According to third-party test data, the model received over 20,000 orders in its first month on the market, becoming a phenomenal product for the application of solid-state battery technology.
